Digital marketing in travel and hospitality has gone through massive change and technological development in the past five years.
Data-driven strategies, AI-based marketing optimisation, hotel chatbots and the automation of previously daunting tasks are now hot topics but are these actually part of everyday hotel marketing practice?
To help find out, we invite you to tell us how e-commerce is managed in your hotel and take this 5-minute survey. Your responses will remain anonymous.
The aim of this research is to reveal how digital marketing is managed in hotels today, as well to identify how suppliers and vendors can better support hotels in improving their business online.
This research is conducted by Hotel Speak, in cooperation with dCommerce, a hotel e-commerce consulting company.
According to Daniel Diosi from dCommerce, there is a huge gap between properties in similar categories; “Most teams are not embracing technology nor strategic thinking, some do not even have a dedicated marketing budget or a strategy written down to paper. Meanwhile, others work efficiently with cutting-edge technology and allocate large budgets to online marketing – pushing obsolete hotels out of business.”
The final results of this research will be published on Hotel Speak, allowing you and your team the opportunity to make a realistic evaluation of your digital marketing, as well to benchmark your skills and competence against hotels in similar categories.
